Upcoming Events at Langley United Church

The following is a directory of upcoming events sponsored by Langley United Church. As they occur, we will include learning opportunities for those interested in congregational life.

CONCERT SERIES 2008

This season’s concert series is coming to a close. In February the Lyric Singers performed and in April the Wyndham Brass Quintet were our guests. Both were great evenings.

The third and final concert this year will take place on FRIDAY June 13th at 8:00 p.m. Greg Caisley, the music director at Langley United will be joined by some lovely singers to present an evening of Broadway music, and some Gershwin too. Tickets are $20 adults, $15 seniors and students and can be obtained by calling the Church office at 604-530-5912. If you have a season pass, mark this date on your calendar now.

THE CHOIR’S CD

Just before Christmas last year, the choir at Langley United produced a CD of Gospel music. Entitled “Heaven’s Light”, this CD can be purchased any Sunday after Church, or at the Church office through the week during regular office hours. (9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday to Friday)

The price is $20 for a single copy, but is reduced if you buy more than one copy. Just ask when you come in to pick up your CDs or call the Church at 604-530-5912.

From 12:00 to 1:30 a free lunch is available to those in need of a hot meal. Entrance is on the north side of the building.
